Privacy policy

A useful introduction requires trust.

This prototype collects only the information needed to qualify a stump project, operate provider profiles, and improve the service. Last updated July 20, 2026.

What we collect

For homeowner requests, we collect the contact, property, stump, access, timing and cleanup details you submit, along with optional project photos and notes. For provider accounts, we collect account, business, service-area and profile information. We also keep limited event records such as a submitted request or viewed private preview.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your basic profile identity and email address so we can create or recognize your StumpRemoval.com account. We do not receive your Google password. We request only profile and email scopes and do not use Google data for advertising.

How information is used

We use submitted information to qualify the request, contact you about missing details, introduce interested providers, operate your account, prevent abuse, and evaluate whether the pilot is useful. An invited provider may review project scope, access notes, ZIP code and submitted photos before deciding whether the opportunity fits. Your name, email, phone number and exact street address remain masked until that provider accepts an introduction.

Site analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand standard traffic, device, referral and site-navigation patterns and to measure the early quote and provider funnels. We do not intentionally send quote-form contents, uploaded filenames, contact information, exact addresses, ZIP codes, account identifiers, project references, provider identities or private access tokens to Google Analytics. Private tokenized routes are reduced to generic page paths before measurement. Learn more about Google's privacy practices.

Public versus private information

Homeowner contact details, exact addresses and original project photos are not public listings. Provider pages may be public only after profile approval. Private draft provider previews are unclaimed, tokenized and marked for search engines not to index.

Service providers and legal needs

We may use hosting, database, email, analytics, security and authentication providers to operate and improve the service. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information as a standalone product.

Retention, access and deletion

We retain prototype data while it is needed to operate and evaluate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent abuse. To access, correct, close an account, or ask us to delete eligible information, email hello@stumpremoval.com. Some records may be retained when legally or operationally necessary.

Security and choices

No online service can promise absolute security. Avoid uploading people, license plates, house numbers or documents in photos. Google sign-in is optional; homeowners may submit the current prototype form without creating an account.
